From the religious artifacts in the British Museum (pots, chests and so on) Hinduism seems to me to be a religion rich in exciting and exotic tales of adventure...could anyone out there share a few of them?

There are so many! Epics, Ramayan and Mahabharath are full of stories: Puranaas, 18 of them, major, are full of stories! They all seem to have originated in different epochs, reflecting society of those epochs! very interesting, all of them! Story of Rama, Of Krishna, of many Gods and gods, heros, heroines.... oh, so absorbing, prolific. There are some web sites devoted to them!
