Want to get my toddlers the flu shot without thermisol - curious if anyone knows if insurance will cover this the same way as the thermisol one. Obviously may have to check with them too.

Flu shots are a complete waste of time, and can be very dangerous.
Do not give any type of shots to your kids.

To my knowledge virtually all insurance will pay for this. Another option is the nasal spray form of the influenza vaccine although this is not carried by every physician (I do not) and not all insurance carriers pay for it (and some may pay only part of the cost). This country has done very poorly at immunizaing people as all of the medical evidence suggests that only universal immunization will protect those at risk. Influenza is a brutal illness so bravo on getting your toddlers off to a good start.
