Are you serious?! This is a very good example of how religion can be dangerous. People live their lives based on their beliefs. If you can believe something like this is true what's to stop you from believing something that could cause you to take action against someone else or even against your own best interest?

Animals attack people when they are threatened. It doesn't matter what animal it is, if you scare it it will either fight or run. Deer have ALWAYS attacked humans when provoked, this isn't anything new.

We have no dominion over animals, we're just egocentric and think we do. We've forgotten that we're part of a chain and connected to all life on the planet. In our hubris we've altered the world as we see fit with very little thought to how the animals sharing the Earth will be impacted by what we do. They're simply reacting to the hostile environment we've created for them.

The concept of man's dominion over animals is not only counterproductive, it negates the value of the animal kingdom itself. We are a part of this environment which includes the animal kingdom, and if we should have dominion over anything, it should be the act of effective custodianship alone.

To date, we've done a piss poor job of it!

Man never had dominion over the animals. We ARE animals. We just cannot accept that fact. Animals attack one another. You can take their food, threaten their offspring, annoy them durring the breeding season, or just pester them until they generally beccome pissed off at you. They are not mindless. They have emotions and will let you know it if you cross the line.

We have not lost dominion over the animals. God does not say something and then take it back. Animals have a fight or flight instinct. They will first try to run away from a problem - but if unable to then they will turn any fight.

Fighting does not mean we have lost dominion, it means we have to out-smart them to use the authority God gave us.

No. God gave man dominion over the animals in the very beginning, but the times of which we now live in, clearly shows that we are in the end of times, and the animals know this.

What do you mean by DOMINION? If you mean man has it coming because of the cruelty he has shown these creatures, then the answer is yes.

It is overpopulation. Even a cornered rat will fight back. or deer. Maybe we should have mandatory abortions like china. that might fix it.

People watch the Lion King and then go and try to pet tigers thinking Jesus will protect them (true story) and when he gets mauled you think it is because society is less religious?

No i believe that because man has been building houses all over the place and the animals have almost no habitat left they have no where else to go but our back yards. They are retaliating for us destroying their home.
