An FBI special agent talked to me the other day regarding a case. Why is he so special they call him special agent and not just agent or even officer. So what if he is the FBI it doesn't make him any better then the local cop writing speeding tickets.

Because the FBI does not go around writing speeding tickets. The FBI handles special investigations hence the name special agent. The FBI also requires higher education and more training then your local police officer who is writing you a citation. What I want to know is what you did to have the Feds talking to you.
