It sounds like your dog looks more like the chi. But I feel that pugs do very well with food names, like fruitcake that was suggested, it just suits them. I have several pugs and they always are being referred to as one food or another.
Noel
Egg nog
jingle
snowflake
cookie
Scrooge
Grinch
Rudolph
Comet
Night
Jack Frost
Frosty
Yule
Yukon
Herbie
bumble
Congratulations on your new puppy!

Our dogs seem to have poeple names (Tom and Jerry) how about Chris for the dog? Like almost Christmas, but just Chris. Maybe Rudy (like Rudolph).

All I can say is do NOT name him "Snow." Or anything else that rhymes with the word "no." It makes training and correcting a dog very difficult.
