I checked an Italian vintage chart and 87 was a great year for Chiantis but as a previous answerer suggested in depends on how it has been cellared. It is definitely ripe and ready now.

hmmm depends on how you've cellared it for the last 20 years, i think it's unlikely you'd get more than about AUS$60 for it...and after 20 years i'd be ready to give the buyer back their money if it's already past its mark. good luck!
