There are job centers that you can use in most cities, they provide basic mail and shower and even clean clothers for interviews. Check with your city government.

When you use the unemployment office, they will ask for that information, and will usually allow you to use their address if you are homeless.
And be honest with your employer about your homeless status. It might help you get the job.

Shelters provide mailing addresses and a place to receive mail. Also, State employment agencies have provisions and services in these cases, as do some non-profit organizations, such as the Salvation Army.

That in and of itself is a problem, it is a like a circle screw to people. How can one get a job when they are homelss, one needs a job to have a home, (to pay for a home) one needs to make a good impression (nice clothes, etc) however they are passed by because of the no address and shabby clothing.

ask a friend if you can use their address for mail, then when you have the job and get somewhere to live, you can always say to your employer i have moved. sometimes you have to bend to truth a little to get on the first rung of the ladder. good luck

if a homeless person is trying to get a job, they are probably trying to turn things around...i would suggest they stay at a shelter or halfway house and use that address...

Some post offices give post office boxes to those without addresses for free. I know mine does.

There is no way that they can. They could however, give a friend or relatives address - if they get permission first.
