i'm visiting London, Paris & Switzerland from 22 Dec 06 ~ 01 Jan 07. it's my fist time to visit europe & during christmas season. afraid shops & resturants will be closed for this period...pls advice....from a tropical singaporean.

These are the days (24 ~ 26 Dec 06) when all shops will be closed. Should i spend these 3 days in Switzerland or Paris?

Either will be memorable....but something about Christmas in the Alps....

I'll throw my beret in the Swiss camp.

Have a great time....not sure about the shops.

The Swiss do a much better Christmas, plus you get the benefits of having German and Italian influences as well.
