Mash Potatoes and gravy

Besides the usual, I make a sweet potato souffle' topped with mini marshmellows that everyone loves to eat. I also do my corn side a little differently too. I get the frozen corn on the cob, shave it off the cob I add peppers, a little onion, salt and pepper, and bacon bits then I broil or roast the corn dish and serve.

Gosh I could go on for hours!

Let's go through the simple stuff...

>>heat some corn and put melted butter on it.
>>Steam some broccoli, squash and carrots...and put melted butter on it.
>>Boil some potatoes (white or red) lightly mash them (leave some chunks...they're good!) and then put salt and melted butter on them
>>Gee, so you see the melted butter theme here?
>>Green bean Casserole...the favorite American Thanksgiving side-dish
>>Make a simple salad and serve with a dressing of choice
>>Heat up peas and put melted butter on it
>>Make candied yams (a.k.a. sweet potatoes) and melt some marshmallows on top....you thought I was gonna say butter did't you!
>>Heat up some carrots with some honey and orange zest...maybe a little butter too!
>>Make sure you have some yeast rolls on hand too

Hope this helps, and Happy Thanksgiving!!
