Im really at the pit of depression. I actually had a glass of scotch. I usually wait till the kids are in bed. Its 9am. So much is happening in my world and I cant seem to get a good break. Doubt I ever really would but I fantasize about leaving but couldnt hurt my family, who Im not very nice to anymore anyway. I see someone once a week but I need some serious help right now. W/xmas coming Im obsessing over my baby who died in my arms last March and a memorial for him is this month. My other two kids are always "being kids" but right now I need peace and solitude. Desperatley and it seems the only way to get it is by forcing it by leaving(not what I really want). My patience is totally non existant and Im thinking about killing the pets Im always tripping over. Dont knowck me,I need some help.

Hi Sweetie. I am so sorry for your loss and your pain. I can only begin to imagine what you are going through right now. It sounds as though you need to take a break from being a caregiver and that you need to be taken care of right now. There is nothing wrong with that!
Have you considered checking yourself into the hospital for a few days? I had to do it 2 years ago to help recover from an assault. I spent 10 days getting meds adjusted and learning new coping techniques. When I got out I had a new treatment plan and new hope for life. It was a difficult thing to do at the time, but it saved my life.
Could you call your counselor and discuss this possiblity or walkin to ER for a evaluation?
Whatever you decide I wish you the very best. You are welcome to email me if you would like.

If you are at the point where you are considering harming your pets and feeling like you need a total break then I think it may be time to ask your doctor to hospitalize you. You would get a break and they may be able to adjust your medications. I know what I'm talking about because I was hospitalized in our local psych ward for 2 weeks this summer. It was one of the best things that could have happened to me. There is nothijg wrong with getting help and rest through hospitalization.

Instead of being on the Internet asking questions, I suggest you use the energy to call your doctor (I assume you "seeing someone" means a therapist) and see about more visits during the week. You must let him/her know how you are feeling. If this doctor is not providing the proper care you feel you need, then call your regular MD and ask for a referral to a good psychiatrist. But do it NOW and stop wasting time. You're jeopardizing the life of others within your household.

Stop & focus. You are so in your own head right now. Don't leave your children without a mother. That will kill them inside & they will experience the feelings you have now when they get big. Maybe seek out religion for your peace of mind. You can't deal with this alone. It sounds like you need to cry & you need someone to listen to you. I am so sorry for what happened to you. Truly sorry. Please seek out help before you hurt someone or yourself.

i am really sorry you are going through so much stress and pain... losing a child is terrible....especially with other children to deal with that still need you and dont really understand everthing.... can you have your parents a friend...? someone babysit while you go out maybe get a room somewhere and just have a entire day yourself?.... depending on where you live you can go to the beach where you can get a little solitude this time a year...... have you looked into getting counseling?....

i have a stupid dog always trying to trip me and kill me...hey look..do yourself a favor and see a counseler that charges on a sliding scale and dump some of these feelings on that person..they can handle it...its usually not as bad as it seems..sometimes our body chemicals get all out of wack too....you just need a little "tune up"...thats all...
