Not impossible. You have already learned a language, i.e. English. You learned it by listening and practising. That's what you need to do now. Get some sort of course which teaches by allowing you to listen and follow in a book. It is harder work for some than others, but we can all do it if we are really serious about it.

Choose a language which you can see yourself using and make opportunities to use it. Good luck!
