BASICALLY IT WILL JUST TAKE TIME TO HEAL. AVOID CITRUS AND ANY ACIDIC FOODS OR SAUCES (TOMATO, MEXICAN FOOD).
EAT A SOFT BLAND DIET AND RINSE WITH WARM SALT WATER 3-4 TIMES A DAY.
AT MEAL TIMES YOU CAN MAKE A MIXTURE OF MAALOX AND HALF A TEASPOON OF BENADRYL, SWISH AND SPIT WITH IT. IT WILL COAT THE TISSUES AND MAKE EATING MORE COMFORTABLE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE NOT ALLERGIC TO THE MEDS FIRST.

Don't worry your mouth will heal itself very quickly but in the mean time if you are in alot of pain buy some difflam oral rinse. Its available from your pharmacy and it is excellent at killing pain in the mouth and throat.Keep an eye on the area and make sure it doesnt develope white spots if it does get a mild antiseptic mouth wash like oraldene. If this doesn't vclear it off to the doctors with you for some antibiotics!

I would try to drink water not ice as this too can 'burn'. Also I reckon that yoghurt may help as it has healing powers and is cool. Maybe you should ask your chemist or even go to the dentist. Sorry it must be so painful! (ps dont eat or drink anything hot or spicy because I think this will really flare the pain up again!)

Keep using the ice in your mouth. The burn won't heal by tomorrow morning. If you continue to have severe pain, you should probably see a doctor. Tylenol taken according to package directions could help, but don't take more than the recommended amount.

Most injuries to gums/palate heal up naturally within 24 hours or so. If still suffering then seek medical advice.

Avoid hot or spicy food and drink lots of water and milk. The mouth is the fastest part of the body to heal so it should start to feel better within a week.

swill out with salt water, it will tingle just a little, and it may turn you into a limbo dancer for a while, its fun to rub your thumb accross the roof of your mouth and burst the blisters, that can result in doing the can can
