I live in Athens Greece Europe and even my husband is flipping because my son and I want to eat ice cream he is 8 years old. I fany one knows this stupid answer please let me know. Thanks

Sounds like your husband has a flexibility problem. Perhaps he was raised in a colder climate. Eating cold food CAN reduce your core temperature, which is not a good idea if you happen to live in an igloo in Alaska..
But since you're in Greece... and the Mediterranean climate is somewhat more temperate than it is north of the Arctic Circle
If you want ice cream, I suggest you eat it. I can't imagine that there is any REAL reason not to eat ice cream in the winter, unless one is lactose intolerant or diabetic, in which case it shouldn't be eaten regardless of the season.
Go ahead eat ice cream and make it a hot fudge sundae.. with NUTS.. (like your husband)

Eating ice cream in the winter or any other time of year doesn't make you sick. People might not eat ice cream in the winter because they associate it with summer, but many people eat ice cream in the winter. It's comfort food and good! Does your husband eat anything cold int eh winter? Eating cold food in the winter DOES NOT make you sick.

In Japan, when it's winter, people are consuming ice cream daily because thye believ ice cream will keep their body warm during the freezing temperature.

I recently saw a show that stated that ice cream is eaten more often in winter then in summer actually.

i am not for sure why he doesn't want you and your son to eat ice cream in the winter but i do and i am perfectly fine

Because he doesn't want yall to get sick in the winter eating ice cream of course i eat ice cream anytime of the year but that's why he doesn't want you to eat it in the winter
