I'm female, i want a really tonned stomach. How long will it take me to see the shape of my muscles if i do cardio 5times per week mixed with stomach crunches?? I'm not over weight and dont have too much fat to burn through.

i would say 4-6 weeks. I would do at least 15-25 minutes of ab work a day. if you can do 1000 crunches a day in 10-20 sets that would be ideal.

Hi
As a personal trainer i dont recommend the 1000 a day crunches as they are useless, that will provide the look of a mans stomach, what you need to do is work your core muscle and its stabilizers, now to do this you need a fitball and thats it! do crunches on here, along with others (i can provide more exercises with the ball contact me on hglchr@aol.com) then you need to make sure you take in the correct amount of calories to what you burn or your body will eat away at its own muscle (muscle depletion) with this training you will see results very quickly.

Depends on how hard you work. Don't forget practice makes permanent. It's very important to be doing the right kind of exercise in the right way or you are wasting time and effort. Get professional advice. Good luck !

um dont do tthe crunches thing
you'll end up looking bulky
alot of seeing abs revolves around diet and having low body fat...which I'll assume you have

theres alot more to abs than just the 6 pack look...read this article and follow the routine ....and yes I know its orientated toward guys but will work for girls also
