while giving a powerpoint presentation, is it advisable to point at d screen ...and read out some important points from there? its nt like showing d back to the audience..but just tilting a bit to the side...please advice on this soon...we hv a presentatn 2mrw

The best way to do presentation is to always face audience, be in eye contact, keep looking at each one in audience in turn (or, each section, if large audience). But once a while tilting the head to point out something or to read out some thing from screen, after you have established rapport with audience, is okay, as long as you don't 'lose' your audience!

i probably wouldnt point out everything from the screen but i think that if you have gotten the attention of your audience, it would be fine to point out the most important points just so you are sure they know what you are talking about. make sure you face the audience, and when you start to point something out on the screen don't turn all the way around.

u can write the things on a paper and then without reading on the screen read it out

you could refer back to bits on it, stops people getting bored, important bits you wish to highlight should be pointed at or read out

or else you wont be giving a proper presentation.
you need to keep in touch of both
