I don't think any man gets angry about sex with no strings attached, but they might be very disappointed if they wanted more with you.

well yeah depending on the man the one that wants to have a commited relationship with you would probably be hurt if you just want sex with him. Just tell him you need some time cause you just got of the long term relationship and you don't want to just have a relationship based on sex. That way he will respect you and then you have a bf when ever you come around. but am glad he is a nice guy not like the others that will say ok thats messed up if he just thought thats the only way to your pants if he gets in a relationship with you. But since you want to do that he take part of you and leave. so am glad the other guy wants to date you but becarful cause i believe if you tell him that it would give him the wrong impression about you adn he will leave you. hope this helps

No,but that will also depend on the guy...Guys who have friends with benefits are more likely to stick around, may even get a little weird....It seems for some reason guys (and women)start to get clingy and will probably get jealous or start asking questions about how many others you are sleeping with...If your not ready for a long term relationship with this guy,I wouldn't start having sex with him...Hope that helps..Good luck

I think it's a natural reaction to feel hurt when someone tells you that they don't want to be committed to you - for any reason.
If you were in a long term relationship prior to this and that person told you the same thing - how would / did you feel?

I think that he would prolly be bummed for a while until he got it. But just make sure that you would never want anything else with him.....because if he is just looking at you as a piece of a.s.s. then when a girl that he wants to be in a real relationship with comes around he will probably just drop you. So make sure that you really don't care for him like that. You will regret it if you do.

Of course it would hurt because you are rejecting him. It would be better to tell him you want to take it slowly and not rush into a commited relationship right away but you could date and have fun

That works fine until somebody gets PG. It depends on the guy & how he feels. In a relationship It's not all about you. If you think it has to be all about you, then don't have any relationships at all until you are ready.

I think for the most part most men would like to just have sex and I believe it will eventually grow into something more if there is a spark between them

He should be more understanding. Tell him to ride it out.
Is there a possibility that you would change your mind in the future? Maybe 6 months down the road? If so, he shouldn't complain. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't.
