Both are right, and it depends on what type of conditioner you put in your hair. If your hair is fine like mine, skip the conditioner and dry your hair, put in a leave in conditioner and comb through, it's a lot more weightless than regular conditioner. I use a generic version of Paul Mitchell's The Conditioner, it's by Russ Kalvin.
Or if you still want to use conditioner in the shower, do a cold rinse on your hair when you're just about done. The cold water will remove and excess conditioner or buildup, it'll seal the hair shaft and make your hair look shinier.
Some will make your hair more greasy, again it depends on your hair type and the conditioner type, you need the right one for your hair and to rinse it all out. But it is good for protecting your hair so they are both right. Just don't fall for your hairdressers gimics on "You NEED this or your hair will look horrible" line. I used to work in a salon...I know their tricks. :-)

Hi Dear! :) Conditioners made with natural oils are the best you can put on your hair, I’ve been using the Pro Natural’s moroccan argan oil conditioner and the argan oil has been wonderful for my dry, frizzy hair and it's not greasy at all! They have it online, it's a bit pricey but it's really professional quality conditioner and you'll see the difference. Check it out! ;) ;) ;)

Both are, sorta.
Depends on what conditioner you use and what type of hair you have.
Most people make the mistake of putting conditioner on the top half of their head which usually results in flat, greasy looking hair. A good rule of thumb is to never let it touch your scalp.
Basically all you should do is determine what kind of hair you have, use the specific formulation of conditioner and use it ONLY where its needed.

It depends on the kind of hair you have. Some conditioners make your hair greasy. In that case do not condition it everytime you shampoo. You can use it every other time you shampoo.

I've used hair conditioners all my life and I have never ever had oily hair. If you've never been prone to oily hair, I dont think you would get it from conditioner.
If you've never tried it go ahead and try it, its wont hurt your hair at all.

I would say your hairdresser. Not only because I agree, but because she had the schooling to teach her, and unless your mother went to cosmetolegy school, I would trust your stylist.
