I don't think God hates you, I think you are looking for someone or something to blame your life on. You say you are not ungrateful , but then call what you have "not much" You can't get much less grateful than that.

Have you made the most of your life? Have you used the tools God gave you to make your life better? If you don't use what is given to you, why would god give you more? Have you considered the trials in your life may be there to give you direction?

If people in your life are dying, study hard and become a doctor or a scientist, and then apply what you have learned to saving lives. Come up with a cure for one of these awful diseases. Come up with a new way to prevent deaths in auto accidents.

God does not "kill off people". The world and life we have created destroys themselves. Make a difference, in the world, anyone can complain and do nothing, It takes the truly exceptional to do something about it.

Dear Summer,

The awesome uncreated Creator of the universe loves YOU.

Being a relatively nice person is not what He loves about you however. He loves you because Jesus Christ died on the cross to make it possible for you to come to a right relationship with the heavenly Father.

People die. There has never been a single person who didn't die.
Some die young and some die old and some die between those 2 extremes. But all die and that is the result of not obeying the one command that God gave to Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden.

As you get older you will probably see the increase in death of your loved ones. Earlier this year I saw someone I knew in the grocery store who looked like he needed an encouraging word. It turns out that he had been to 5 funerals that week.

Those people who accept Jesus Christ as their LORD and Savior will enjoy eternal life with Him in what we limited human beings call heaven. Those people who reject Jesus Christ as their LORD and Savior will experience what we limited human beings call hell.

Don't continue in ignorance but read the Bible. The first one I read was The Daily Walk Bible and I read it when my life was falling apart at the seams. It was so good that I couldn't put it down and I finished it in 90 days. It was by far and away the best thing I've done in my life. It shows God's amazing love!

God doesn't hate, only people do. You don't have a relationship with God or you would be praying to Him about this. That's where it all begins. Open your heart if you truly want the answers. He's waiting for you to invite Him in. Call on Him. God doesn't kill off family members to punish people. Death is a part of life. It's sad, it's difficult, but it's normal. I hope you can find some peace. God Bless.

It depends on what religion you belong to, or if you are religous at all. As a sikh my religion teaches me the following: what goes around comes around. So what ever you have done in the past i.e; in the past second, minutes, hour, day, week, year or in your past life, you must recieve the result. So in another words, "You shall reap what ever you sow". You sow the the seed of your action every second of the life, and so you also have to reap the the deeds of your actions, when they were done. If you sow a bad seed by doing some thing bad, then you must reap the bad deed for it too. how ever, if you do something good then you will reap the rewards of that action. simple as that. just remember god, if your religious, and try to do only good and take the result of your destiny on your chin and accept the deeds of your actions. And for the future just think of the result of the action before you carry it out.

hope that helps.

God is not punishing you. As hard as it may be, God lets things happen in your life for a reason. It may be 5 months from now or even 5 years, but one day you will look at your experiences and realize no matter how difficult they were, they happened for a reason and it will make you a stronger person. Although no one close to me has died, I have had some bad experiences and they are the reason that I am who I am today. Had I not went through those experiences, I would still be making bad choices in my life. Just stay strong and know that some how you will get through it. God is looking out for you.

You're wrong in assuming it's all about you. Your statement "So why does he punish me a least once a year by killing off one of my friends or family?????" sounds like you think there's no one else in the world except you. God doesn't necessarily cause things to happen as much as he allows them to happen. You'd never become the person you need to be if life was always to your liking. Trials build character and make us stronger...as long as we can see them for what they are.

God or not, that's nature taking its course. Death is the great equalizer, and no one on the planet is, has ever been, or ever will be immune to it.

I am sorry for your losses. It sounds like you need to do some more soul searching and find out if God is who you want running your life. Despite what you might hear, you might have a more fulfilling life without Christianity. Perhaps Buddhism, Wicca, Taoism, atheism, etc. would agree with you more, and you owe it to yourself to explore your possibilities.

You are ultimately responsible for your own actions, lifestyle and happiness.

God does not hate anybody.. The "hurts" that you experience in your life are not God punishing you for anything..they are just a part of life. Those things that you go through make you who you are. They are meant to happen, whether you are a good person or a bad person. But believing and knowing that they are part of God's "plan" and leaning on God in times like that make it easier to deal with.

God doesn't hate. People do. God doesn't take life He gives it. Other people kill or illness kill, that is life. We have good times and bad ones. We should believe in Him and His power. You probably do not believe that is why you want to blame somebody and this time you are blaming God for all the bad in your life. What about the good, Who has given you that??

Firstly, God does not hate your guts.

He is not about hate. He is a lover of righteousness, not wickedness.

Secondly, it is not God that kills. We made the choice, our ancestors Adam and Eve when they ate the fruit of the tree of knowledge. We die because we are of sin. If we were made not to eat the fruit, than we would not have free will. And God wanted us to CHOOSE to live in his glory

Lastly, and this is one that most Christians still don't get, good works don't get you favor in the eyes of God. Yes, you are expected to do the things that you speak (i.e. be grateful, not kill, help others, etc.) but it is through Christ that you are saved and glorified.

It sounds to me that you are being molded, tempered by God. He will challenge you, but will never give you a task to big for you if you are strong by the will of the Lord. If these friends that have passed are lovers of God through Christ, than think of how glorious it will be to meet them at the gates of Heaven and meet God!
