Why are we so special? Have you got an hour and a half? He he.

Ireland is the land of a thousand welcomes, so you should get on okay. Just remember there is good and bad everywhere. Ireland, like all countries, is not a utopia.

Don't be silly! The Irish are warm and welcoming people! Just walk into a pub and order a pint, and let the laughs roll.

I love Ireland! Can't wait to go back!

Hi every body !
I'm not Irish too.Unfortunately i haven't been yet to Ireland,i am from Djerba,Tunisia.
As i am in the travel & tourism sector, i had the occasion to meet diffrent nationalities.Almost all the Irish i have met where nice, friendly, warm people, and very open minded.
less than 2 weeks ago, i was with a couple of phisyciens, living in U.S (N.Y.City ) they where Irish and they where wonderfull. I have a lot of respect for Irish, i really mean it , but i can't say it in Gallic,it doesn't matter isn't it?

I go to Ireland a couple of times a year. It is a beautiful place. I have always been made welcome, that's why we return year after year. It does rain, but it is always warm. My favourite place is Strandhill in Sligo. The Strand Pub in Strandhill is the best pub in the whole wide world.

Ireland is all right & it certainly used to be a friendly place.
It's changing all the time as people become more affluent.
The weather is unpredictable but not too extreme.
The economy is booming but will slow in a year or two.
It's expensive to live in Ireland.
All races have good & bad people & good & bad features.
Do visit & make your own mind up.

I think we Irish are just open people, when my cousins visit from England they are amazed that we greet everybody we meet, they commented that we know everybody, when I told her that I didn't know all the people I had said hello to that morning she asked why did I bother My reply was "why not" we are just like that, friendly and open!!!So come and sample some of our Irish hospitality you will not regret it!!!! The crack is great no matter where you go!!! promise

When I went to Ireland, I had the best time
of my life! You will absolutely love it! Trust me.
The people are warm, friendly, and down to earth.
I can't wait to go back! Just go and see for yourself.
You won't be disappointed!

It's hard to say !!
I think it's the sense of humour we Paddy's have but maybe it's something else.
We tend to welcome people very warmly and when we get to know them we take the piss out of them. (in a nice way of course !)

The scenery is beautiful. Especially in Donegal and in Connemara Galway. If you are coming come to Galway. It's a beautiful spot. Loads of stree muscians and festivals, good shops, state of the art hotels and restaurants and 3 terrific cinemas. Traditional music everynight and the CRAIC IS SOMETHING ELSE
