Humans have a cranial malfunction called 'PTS' (protective territory syndrome) haha of course I am kidding. But, as we are considered part of the "animal kingdom" (Hence humans are at the top of the food chain) it is natural for an animal to be territorial. It is an instinct we bring from the Stone Age I suppose or you could say an animal instinct. There is nothing wrong with being territorial about or space. Just exercise caution and respect if you must want to make it a point that he is invading your space. As for this happening during driving time, just move. This is a good time to exercise caution. A good step on the breaks will also send a message without lifting the middle finger. He will have a heart attack.
