London, the best place in the UK

People, chavs and bureaucracy are the same wherever you go in this country so if you are looking for a better standard of living you could do worse than move abroad.

But maybe if you have the money you could move into a little town or village community away from the South East and as long as you don't try and trample on them they will except you.

What's most important to you. Travelling convenience, scenery, cost of living, work prospects? Make a list and spend long eneough researching. Go and see some places. A place may look good on the map,but you hate it when you get there. Best of luck. Not an easy job.

it would depend on what sort of environment you want to live in and what type of people you want living in the area, are you after a city or the countryside mainly whites or multi cultured or mainly a specific religion, there is no best part of the country, i was a travelling salesman and have been all over the uk and most of it is similar when it all comes down to it, the north is cheaper than the south but has fewer jobs, it all comes down to your priorities

It really rather depends what you want from where you live. Schools, jobs, country air, city life? There are lots of good places to live in this country so you need to define your question a bit more.

Undoubtedly the North of England! Specifically, somewhere near Manchester as it's not that far north so the south and midlands are still accessible, and of course Manchester is fantastic!
