Well I don't think I'm a bad mum, but I like everyon else has those moments where you get stressed and shout, or are tired to play with your child. So yeah, some of the time I am a not so good mum.:)

I am a step mum!! to a nearly 3 year old - I wouldn't say I was a bad mum - but we have our disappointing days where I feel I have not been the best I can be with her - because we spend such limited time together compared to having a full time child - I always feel the days and nights we have the fortune to be with her should be the best - when she is naughty I tell her off, as I would my own child, but then I think I shouldn't since her time with us should be good!! so sometims when she pours salt on the floor and I shout I feel like I have let her down by ruining her day - butt he other part of me thinks she shouldn't be spoilt just because her parents have split up - she should still be taught right and wrong and manners etc. I just sometimes feel bad for been an ogre!! harder for me been a step mum, that love a true parent and child have between them is not so naturally there for us - I do love her very very much though and even after I have upset her she will always come for a hug and a kiss - so I can't be that bad if she still tells me she loves me when we drop her off!!

in 2005 when I was sick and sometimes didn't see my son for days (not to mention the 2 one week hospital trips) I would have said I felt like a bad mom
this year, when I'm working an alternate schedule and spending as much time with my son as I can, I'd say I'm a good mom. I mean my son is very happy, healthy, & will turn 3 in a week. He talks up a storm & loves to laugh. I really can't complain.

I sometimes feel like a bad Mum if I lose my temper and shout at my kids, or if I am too shattered at night to read to them, but I know essentially that my kids are happy and healthy. I think anyone can feel like a bad parent sometimes, especially if you are working aswell. The tiredness can get on top of you and make you short tempered, but as long as you love them as best you can, and they love you back, then things will be ok!

I dont think I'm a "bad" mum but there is definitely room for improvement.
Just sometimes cant muster up the energy to read the same book 16 times when she wants to. Or how much time can you actually spend doing play-doh before you want to throw it in the bin.

It's a hard job and I think I'm a bad mum at least once a day! Sometimes not enough time spent doing things with them and sometimes too little patience when I'm tired and ratty, then I look at their little faces when they're sleeping and feel really bad because they're so cute and I love them so much (when they're asleep!!) and yet I seem to spend all day moaning at them!

I dont think I'm a bad mum but I'm not perfect either. I've made mistakes and learnt stuff the hard way sometimes - just like every other mum I should think xxx

I wouldn't say I'm a super mom, but there has been things that I'd change if I could. I wish I would read more to my kids and play more games. I do spend a lot of time with my kids, cook them full meals, and keep them clothed and clean, but I feel those are the most important. I just need to take them to the park more and that is where I feel I have failed.

I think at one point or another we are all bad mums. No one is perfect and some days you get angry or yell. Just part of being a mother of older children. As long as your children know that they are loved and you try to be a good mother I think this is normal. Not even mom's are perfect. ;)
