Give this guy a break. stop hating... Too many excuses... If you sign a contract to fight you have to be ready before the fight. They both knew that there will be a third fight months in advance. Morales was not a last minute substitute fighter. Pacquiao was when he schooled Barrera. Barrera was not overweight and he was ready. Barrera was beaten bad that they have to throw the towel. Any excuses? Was it the metal plate on his head? When Pacquiao was beaten by Morales. Morales' fans would brag about how good he was. and then 2nd fight was just a fluke. The boxer himself quoted that this was the first time he felt the punch of his opponent.
Pacquiao was the first boxer to knock him down, twice in the 1st rematch and 3 times in the last fight. Pacquiao had sore throat that day.
Marco Antonio Barrera and Erik Morales are exceptionally great fighters. Sad to say, before they fought Manny Pacquiao.
He is the best and the most exciting boxer right now, The scary part is, He is still learning.

Erik Morales did not look strong. He lost a lot of weight in a short time and this affected his strength. Though Manny is an excellent boxer and puncher, I believe that Erik would have beaten him if he had been in better condition.
Erik, is a man that admitted his defeat and took it like a man. Its time for him to retire and he knows it. I wish him all the best. He would make an excellent trainer.

I'm from Argentina, i think both are great fighters, but nowadays Pacquiao is younger and faster than Morales, besides Morales had several BATTLES in his career that really produced negative effect in him

I'm Asian...Pacquiao should start thinking to fight for a title belt. Morales should try to focus at 134 pounds.

hey bubbles, thats quite a name, you must be from san fransisco.
any ways, great fight, pacquiao was the stronger man. morales should focus on retiring or go up in weight.
i still think pacquiao isnt great, he should fight guys that are in good shape, we'll see how it goes with barrera or valero. He should have good competition there.

Filipino. Lopsided. I thought it was going to be better. I'm a big fan of both. Sad to see a great fighter retire. Manny is just getting better and better every fight. Now that's scary. He's in his prime right now.
