Sure. As long as it's not some sneaky, behind the back thing. Both spouses should be informed of the lunch date and if one isn't comfortable with it then it shouldn't happen. Some people have jealousy and self esteem issues and that should be a consideration.

It's okay as long as everyone is honest with each others spouses or significant others about what is going on. I enjoy the company of women, so I have lunches with females all the time, that's all there is, conversation and lunch. My wife knows that I love her with all my heart and that I would never do anything to harm our relationship, I feel the same about her and trust her the same.

Only under these conditions. First they should ask their spouses first and get their blessings, then if they think that their marriages can stand all the gossip and lies that will be told on them. You see if you are mariried, you have to act as though you are one person, with two different ideas of what is acceptable and what is not. Marriage is tough even under the best of circumstances. G

I go out on friendly lunches with other men. These are men i've grown up with, dear friends of mine. Of coure my husband knows and he personally thinks its great that i have male friends. (apparently it means that i should be used to all the gas and awful jokes..lol) If jealousy is concerned, why not go out on a double date and take their partners as a comprimise. It could be hard for her husband as he doesn't know this man, and to learn they once courted, get her to introduce his wife and him to her husband.

I think anyone can go out with anybody, even if your married because just because your married dosn't mean that you can't have fun, the cheating part is on you if you want to cheat on your husband, cheat!Although her husband would find it kinda disturbing, which he won't be comfortable. But keep in mind would you let your husband have a fun day with a lady??

Even if they are both happily married... There's still that "thing" there hanging from their past... and eventually it will stir desires to taste that forbidden fruit... and the truth of the matter is that they both realize that but will never admit it...

if her husband trusts her, and that he's okay with it, then why not? It's only friendly lunch, not a date.
