Lifes too short to let someone stand in the way of your dreams. If we could only turn back the clock, how many of us say if only! Dont live to regret not following your dreams, you'll only blame him in the long run. If this man really loves you he wont stand in your way, you only get one shot of life so go for it girl, wish i had.

It's okay to travel without him. If he loves you and really doesn't want to travel with you then he'll have no problem letting you travel with a friend or two. Just take a new trip every year and always invite him along so he can't say "Well, you never invite me" If he has a problem with you traveling without him, then perhaps he's just not the one you're meant to be with. Perhaps you'll find Mr. Right in your travels instead. Best of luck!

I would go travel the world.
I'm in the same boat, the guy I’m with, and I told him I want to see the world, travel for about a year. He got in such a mood with me because he won’t go, and he thought I would be leaving him the next day, sort of thing.
I'm planning to go travelling in about 2-3 years - wanting to save, so I don’t have to work.
If we are still together - or who ever I might be with at that time - I will still go.
If its something you have always wanted to do, then go, and I wish you the best of luck. Remember stay safe!

Travel, if he is worth having he will wait for you to fulfil your dreams first. There is a whole world of men out there, who knows who you will meet along the way, don't give up your dream.

You have to find a way to make it something he wants to do. For instance my "better half" hates to fly. He WILL NOT get on an airplane. So that kinda rules out alot of traveling because he also hates long car rides. So I've had to find ways to make him want to go. Like, since he's a big hunter I got reservations to do a big game hunt out west and set up and train travel tour to get there and back. He totally went for the idea. So he got to do something he wanted to do, and I got to do some traveling. Its the age old trick women have been doing for years, just make them think it was their idea or that they somehow convinced you to do it, and they'll totally go for it.

Forget about him. Do your travelling, do your own thing . You have loads of time to sit on the veranda or in the lounge loafing once you get old. Do as much as you can while you are young or you will regret it in years to come. As for the man, if you don't do as you please and just listen to him you will hold it against him forever and ever AMEN.

its all very complicated if you ask me its about compromise really could you maybe suggest a in the middle like stay here then travel a couple of months a year if he puts his foot down then he oversly does not respect your wants and dreams it would seem to me he is a very selfish man but its up to you if it was me id try the compromise if that failed id have to make a stand I'm very stubborn!!!! good luck!! its wot you want that matters!!!!

well hun you weigh up the pros and cons and decide which is more important - love or travel.
Also how do you know he wouldnt be up for it - does he know that you want to do this or are you just guessing?
Why not bring it up casually one day and see what he thinks.
If after that he still doesnt want to travel then you have a hard choice to make hun. Good luck with it! xx

are you willing to sacrifice your dream for the man you love??????????
maybe he wants to take you on a journey of love and not one round the world are u willing to exchange your dream to be with him?
if you feel you cant, talk with him and find out if he has any objections or if he offers you support that way you can make a decision based on what is best for the 2 of you.
