I hope you're not paying money for this puppy. Puppy mills are doing this, trying to breed "designer dogs" and they come up with weird names like puggles (beagles and pugs) . You must insist on seeing their kennel to make sure it's not a puppy mill and if they come up with an excuse like "It gets the dogs too excied", it's a huge warning sign. If it's just an accidental breeding by a nice owner, then it's okay. I'm not fond of terriers, they are very hyper so be forewarned. Once again, DO NOT PAY FOR ANY PUPPY UNLESS IT IS AKC REGISTERED.

I dont know what the cross will be like. I have a Yorkie and my friend has a Westie - and both of them have been hard to train and pee in the house if not carefully watched!
Do get advice about looking after any dog. And do start training early. I wish i'd trained my dog better.

Ive known a yorkie and a westie and they are both lovely little dogs and a cross will probably be a nice dog. Most good pet shops will have books on different pets, including various dog breeds. My advice would be to get a book and read up on caring for a puppy. All dogs need lots of TLC, vacinations and good food and a warm place to sleep. Dogs with long coats need grooming every day to keep their fur in good condition. Consider getting it neutered and micro chipped but apart from that just love it and enjoy it.

Have you seen this site?
http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/fourcheterrier.htm
It has pictures of Westie Yorkie crosses - really cute indeed.
For some reason they call them Fourche Terriers ... ? not sure why.
I'd imagine that you'd rear them just the same as any terrier puppy. Though I wonder which fur type they would inherit?

Both of these are terriers which means LOTS of nervous energy, and they can be noisy! Westies and Yorkies are both known for being territorial about "their" people and stuff. They can be agressive if they feel invaded; well known for snapping at people if they're in their owner's arms as they feel they are "protecting" you.
They can be very demanding of their owner's time and attention. They also need more brushing than a lot of dogs, that long fine hair knots something fierce.
They need a lot of play and/or agility training to run off some of that excess energy!

A well-trained dog makes everyone happy, including his owner. Take a little time training him, and you'll never regret it; you'll always have an obedient dog by your side. Find more https://tr.im/HHIpy
By their nature, dogs are pack animals with a well-defined social order. Through basic training, you need to consistently make sure your puppy understands that you are the leader, not him. So in teaching him the basic rules, you take on the role of pack leader.
To fit into the family circle, your dog must be taught to recognize his name and such commands as come, heel, lie down and sit.
