give me detailed ansers cotaining photography, and light settings in it

basic portrait shooting using just a well lit window. you can do
great pics. called Rembrandt lighting. have your subject stand
next to the window,with half of their face lit and half in shadow,
with a little triangle of light on their shadow side cheek. then use a reflector card to lighten up the shadow side just a little bit.
set your aperture well open to have a narrow depth of field.so only
the face is in focus. then shoot at meter reading and bracket
shots half stop up and down. you`ll get great results......

I will be investing in a much better camera and a tripod witht he knowledge I was able to find here.

you can choose different modes before taking photos, like night mode and its not advisable to take photos in dim light.
