I heard that if animals eat grass it means they have an upset stomach. Just call your vet and ask them..they could tell you. : )

Every cat I've ever had has had a passion for eating grass. I was told many years ago (by a vet) that the grass has certain minerals the cats need and that it helps with digestion and stomach problems. I don't know how true that is, but I've never had a cat harmed from eating grass.

She is short on fiber. Animals are pretty smart when it comes to stuff like that. The problem is that the little hairs in grass may cause her stomach to get irritated, and she may vomit.

Feed her less. Pay some attention to her so that she gets some form of exercise. Cats are susceptible to leukemia and diabetes. Take a look at what you feed her. Cut back on wet food and increase dry food. It's more balanced, and in the long run better for her. Cut back the wet food to a half a can per meal. Make it more of a treat.

Cats metabolisms are almost the same as dogs adn well they also eat grass when there stomachs are a bit upset its natural for them to do that its there instincts dont worry if your car does but if he starts not eating and losing weight then you should consider taking it to the vet thats what happened to my kitten but he is okay now hope this helps.

Absolutely not. Some people keep a pot of grass growing in their houses so their indoor cats get grass. They tend to eat it often and it is normal.
But for God's sake, put it on a diet.

They lick themselves a lot and the hair gathers in their stomach so they eat grass in order to (excuse me) throw up the accumulated garbage!
In case your cat starts liking to smoke grass, that might be a problem.

Don't worry, it's normal. My cats are inside cats and I grow grass in a little container for them.

Completely normal. You might not want not to let her eat it though if it's sprayed with pesticides or weed killer though. I'd buy some cat grass and plant it indoors in a nice pot for her.
