you must provide a litter tray for her. I personally don't see what there is to "bear". A clean covered litter tray filled with sweet smelling wood based litter and scooped daily is nothing to be worried about. Keep it in your bathroom so you can drop the turds into the loo and keep it clean. You need to properly clean the areas she has gone with a biological washing powder/liquid solution. The enzymes neutralise the smells. Then put a few drops of either lavender oil or citronells (lavender is nicer in the bedroom) in the place and she won't go there again.
You will have to compromise. There is no magic wand to be waved to solve the problem.

You could train her to go outside (you'll need to have a catflap). Start with the litter tray. Each day move it a few inches closer to the door, then put it outside the door (make sure she's there, so she can see where it's gone). Move it further away from the door each day and then stop using it completely. Don't worry about her going in the middle of the lawn. She'll go in a flower bed - cats bury their crap. Good luck.

The only answer is a litter tray. Put something in the other corners to keep her away. Vinegar usually works.

id have a litter tray by the back door would be better than pooing over the house. where she has pooed place foil over the areas and she shouldnt poo again in that spot. it worked on my kitten now uses the litter tray.

Maybe she is slowing down- and does not want to use the energy to jump up there and wake- and it is cold outside!! Get a litter box- the is nothing like the smell of cat crap in the carper- other than cat pee!! D

litter tray is the only answer - you cannot expect a cat to keep their legs crossed and ifs shes getting older then it may be harder to control herself. We have a litter tray with our kittens and with odear eating litter and daily cleaning its fine

Good. At least that stops them from doing 'it' in my garden.
I'm sick to death of cleaning up other peoples cat s*** from our nice garden. What is the point of having cats if theyre just left out to roam around?? Why should we have to clean up after them. If i wanted cat s*** in my garden, then i would go out and get a cat!!

put some cat spray in the corner of the room that will stop your cat from pooing in the corner of the room.
