yes u can ....my sister has DLA for this very reason ....
shes not a bum .. she is genuinely ill and unable to work ....

It is possible. Depends though on how much your depression affects your day to day living. It is a very long form you have to fill in.

DLA = Disability Living Allowance

Yes you can but you will have had to have made NI contributions or you won't get any extra money.It's called incapacity living allowance,and is claimed from your local jobcenter.
You have to provide evidence from your GP,such as sick note.

No think you can only get incapacity.... Disability is for people who have cancer and mobility and severe disabilities.
