Black is fine nowadays. Weddings have evolved from traditions that any color is acceptable except for white.

Are you the bride....? Not that it matters. If you are indeed the bride, you can wear whatever you choose. It's your wedding day. If you're not the bride, then once again, you can wear whatever YOU choose. If you're into the "goth" thing, and there's nothing wrong with that, just remember, you may NOT be into it forever. You want to be able to look at your wedding pictures when you're 60 and not feel like you made a mistake! Also, if you want to dress in a goth fashion, try a cream or even white sheer fabric with butterfly sleeves, lots of delicate lace - something sexy and feminine - kind of like a romeo and juliet style. Good luck!

A lot of women wear black dresses to weddings...however, if your idea of a black dress is a goth outfit with the gloves and black stocking and tall boots, then the answer is a no. If you're going to wear black, it should be classy...out of respect to the couple.

The bride and groom are the main attraction here.............don't steal their thunder, so to speak..
You will no doubt be attractive and maybe stand out, But don't make them and others mad at you........Wear a nice suit, that will turn heads as well. Women look so good in these, They just don't realize it..A navy color is close to black, and dress it up with some colored accessories ..good luck

Yes, that's fine. You can even dress up like a goth if you want. It's not wrong. Obviously the people who invited you to this wedding know you. Really though, if I were dressing goth to a wedding I'd go with a crimson or deep blue or purple dress as opposed to black.
