i dont see the point of others being nasty to show off or to make themselves look good its such a sad world i have kids and dont want them be mean to others why do some parents turn a blind eye to there own children

It's an opportunity, however, to teach your children to not respond to them, and to overcome with them patience, kindness or courage, when need be.

After 20 years, maybe she's craving her youth and felt that she could never really be herself and now she is breaking free. Sometimes, when women want attention or feel that they have been taken for granted then they will start showing more skin. To let the man their life to know, she's fabulous and other men think so too. How has she dressed for you? Maybe, she's felt oppressed. She's an adult and she should be able to do what she wants within reason. If someone feels that they've been held back or made may sacrifices for their partner, they will eventually rebel, and that what is sounds like your wife has done.

belittling or being nasty can people can give some people a sense of control when their own lives are a mess. parent may turn a blind eye because they may see their child doing this as a form of sticking up for its self

When a person has been abused over a period of time they develop a sense of security during the abuse. Because of this, when they are not being abused they tend to lash out against others just to give themselves that sense of security and stability. So I guess you could say that it all boils down to being an insecure and immature individual.

i don't think the why to your question will ever be answered properly, that is one of the things we will never know except some people are just cruel, also, your kids wont if you teach them right, and a lot of parents turn a blind eye to there kids because they obviously don't care, that is why we have so many juvenile delinquents

i try not to be nasty about others because i dont like to think of others saying bad stuf about me but we all gossip now and again we just have to deal with it i guess

Because they can't believe their children are wrong, it is a personal attack on themselves.
But do the nasty ones really feel good inside? I doubt it.

my mom raised me to be brutally honest and people think i'm an uncaring B. who cares? not me.
if someone asks me if her pants make her butt look big i would respond , no, it's your fat ars that makes it look fat.
if someone asks me ' how does this look? ' i'm not about to lie and say it looks a bit puckered here and there. i'm going to say it looks like crap. let's keep shopping. i wouldn't want anyone lying to me. i want the truth. it might hurt, but not for as long as a lie will.

People lack self confidence and self esteem. Each person is indivudual and has his own talents and gifts. Once we recognise this there is no need to be mean to anyone.
