Yes. He wants to make sure he makes no plans for that time so he can be with you.

no, he means "let him know in advance when you next in town"

We're not all obsessed with dating people you know.

He's not "sort of" doing anything. Its all your assumption, imagination or guesswork.

He means what he says.

I say this all the time, if i'm wrong i guess I've inadvertently asked out 50 girls in the last month. How was i to know you re-invented the meaning of a sentance ?

Tell him to call you the next time you are in town. Send him a message from where you are staying and tell him to call you. He will have more respect for you. Unless you are happy with this arrangement.

He wants to see you and is asking that you let him know in advance when you'll be in town so he can make arrangements to spend time with you.

It sounds like he wants to be friends, more like. He's not making much effort to meet you when you're not in town, is he? If he was making an effort to come and see you, I would think he was interested in you.

Yes, it means he cares and wants to be prepared when you come next time. He wants to keep himself free for the time you are there, so he can spend time with you.

All the best.

Well it means he's very interested in seeing you again at the very least!

He could be making sure he's not in town when you are. You need to ask him straight.
