Are they going to be singing hymms and playing harps forever. I don't wanna hear any of this 'everlasting life and eternal happiness' crap, I wanna know what is really going on up there and what people's souls are doing that makes it so great.
I personally would rather be in hell with Anton Lavey and Elvis, rockin it out forever, takin drugs n gettin wasted.

Regardless of whether it's blissful or not, if there really is a heaven and you go there, you will be surrounded by people such as those who have just answered your post. Could you imagine an eternity of that? Bring on the pitchforks, there's no way I'm suffering through those idiots for eternity.

On second thought, I also don't see anyone sitting on a cloud, playing harps! God has a much better plan for us....
The thing that will make it so great, is that all who make it into God's Kingdom, will be productive, rebuilding the Earth, instituting God's systems, no sorrow, etc... There's more, you can look it up in the Bible, but then....I think, you think that your "idea" of hell sounds like more fun! Good luck!
I love Elvis too, but I'm positive I'll get to talk to him personally in the next life, but it won't be in Hell!

I would like to invite you to get the 'Final Events DVD' which you can find in the link below. Heaven, we will live there for ever, those who make it. We will have eternity to spend increasing our knowledge of the endless universe and to develop new skills and wisdom coming directly from the source, God. Travel to other worlds and participate in endless list of activities and events. Its such a pity that we don't know all the details, but I guess that's what going to make the surprise oh so much sweeter.

Ask God, seeing as He's the one Who's making all of it! I can't tell you because I wasn't a builder of heaven and I've never been there before! No one can even imagine what heaven is like! And how would you know if they're only playing harps and stuff?

We will work. I know that doesn't sound like paradise but we will work unto the Lord. We will toil the ground and keep it. We will be given duties such as I might be a butcher and you might be a farmer...we will tend to what is ours and God will provide the meat and the corn. Then we would trade it to each other. We are judged according to our works here on earth to determine our status in Heaven. However, here..since we have earthly bodies, that sounds unjust and unfair. But in Heaven it really won't matter bc we will be happy to do it.

Genesis chapter 1 God gave Adam a job to do. Name all the animal, and tend the garden. We won't get bored.
Read the last chapter of Revelation for more details on how we are going to live. Better than rocking in hell.

Having never been there it's really hard to say. Based on what can be pieced together from God's Word, however, I would say Heaven will consist of eternal union with and worship of God as well as eternal happiness. If you want anything more specific than that (i.e., "less crappy" as you would term it), you'll obviously have to go there to find out for yourself.
