I have the choice between IELTS, TOEFL, ESOL CAE.
Where can i take the exam in Ireland and where?
How can i get ready for them?

I would recommend IELTS, as it is internationally recognised. It's used by the NHS and other UK government bodies for recruitment from abroad, as well as for America. There are test centres in Ireland. Follow the link and click on 'Ireland' for a full list.

I agree with the previous two posts. IELTS is by far the most popular EFL exam.

I'm not sure where you can take it in Ireland. Your best bet would be to check round your local colleges. If they have an EFL department, they wil probably also run an IELTS class where the syllabus is specifically geard towards the IELTS exam and this would also be your best preparation.

It depends what you will need it for. If you have a particular job/course in mind then call them up and ask what they prefer. It is best to target your energies! In Medicine, IELTS is the one that is asked for. With regards to where you can take them and how to prepare, do google searches for them, and ring up the examination boards to ask for a syllabus and reading list. Good luck!
