Basically it was just a media hype cause by the near-Earth minor planet being ranked with an above 0 rating on the Palermo Impact Hazard Scale.
Quoted from wikipedia:
"On August 1, 2002, the object was removed from the list of objects that present a threat, at least for the next 100 years."
Nothing to worry about really, it's just one of those things the media picks up on and blows it out of proportions.

There are always asteroids heading for earth. ABC did a series on how the world is likely to end a month or two ago - gave the top 10 most likely "planet killers". I think getting hit by something from outer space was number 3.

No. before everything, there is not any asteroid named "agg2.fifty six." Asteroid names all incorporate the 300 and sixty 5 days of their discovery, 2 letters which denote the fortnight of discovery, and a quantity interior that fortnight. working example "2012 MU2." it is the sole asteroid presently exhibiting any possibility of hitting the Earth in some unspecified time sooner or later sooner or later, an quite easy one, and not while it passes Earth next on July 2.

There has been something in the news about an asteroid falling to earth around the year of 2019 and would probably hit in the saherra desert, but that is only a guess. Astroids are miniature planets in our solar system mostly the astroid belt is between Mars and Jupitor. You may be able to find something about this on the history channel of your television.

Both Revelation and Nostradamus predicted a "fiery mountain" hitting
the Earth!
I watched a movie once where aliens used magnetic power to hurl
asteroids at a planet as weapons.
If our world is getting ready to be a battleground for humans, and beings
on other dimensional levels. It would stand to reason aliens would be battling here too!
I wonder?

Don't believe that. God does not allow it. If you want guidance, refer to the new testatment of the bible in revelation.
