There has to be legal formalities to protect the child and your rights as the parent. If you know you wan ta female child I would look into foster parenting and adopting through the program. Everything will be laid out for you to do and you can touch the childs life even before the adoption is complete. You can also look into adopting from China you can get a girl that way and when you go through a forgein adoption agency they handle the paper work for you you just provide the cash and information to the agency lawyer.
If you are wanting to be a good influence in a girls life and offer her the love and care she needs and can't afford to adopt become a foster parent. Children are in real need and they often have struggles. Contact your local social services for more information but you will have to be trained and back ground checks still have to be done.

Horrible thought.... I would not take that path if I were you. There is nothing like doing and having everything legal... or else it might be... illegal. It was reported in one of the major newspapers here in London a year or so ago that in some African country (which I cannot remember) they sell, yes, sell, very young girls for adoption for.... wait for it... 5 Sterling ( Sterling ) Pounds or 7.50 US dollars. Are we really in 2006 ???!! ---- Whichever way you end up doing it, I wish you all the luck... and all the best because having a little child to love and look after and care for is.. THE BEST, MOST WONDERFUL, MOST UNIQUE THING IN THE WORLD !!!! --- Personal experience ? Yes I have. I adopted a beautiful and adorable 5 yr old little girl from the Philippines who at the time had no prospects of a good future; She will be 18 yrs old Jan 2007 and will enter university Sept-2007. We never regretted it. She is loved just as much as if she was my own blood daughter. Good luck to you and we hope you find the little (female) angle you are looking for. There are millions of them out there. Go out there and find her. Try the Philippines, show them love and you will return with one. BUT FOR GOD'S SAKE DO IT PROPERLY AND LEGAL. A lot of paper work !

Not a legal adoption. You must go through a home study, background check, sometimes medical records check, provide financial records to show you can support a child and approval. You will need to go to court and be granted a court order making the adoption legal. I think any responsible person wanting to adopt would have no problem with this process. Only someone who has something to hide or is up to something wouldn't want to have a legal adoption.

Please see a lawyer now.

You sure you are old enough, sathrasal...in some Indian languages means age 17, if so you are still a child your self.

If you are old enough, it is a Noble thing to do, but do it right.

Contact local agency, government ,City, County(Taluca)State, or Central(Federal). It should not cost you much. If you cannot afford this cost and stand this hassle then, please do not undertake any adoption.

A child will cost you much more money then this every year, and even you get enough aid from the state church and afford the child from that stand point still, emotionally child can be a big hassle.

Think of foster parenting and see how it works out and then, try to adopt that child, if both you and the child are comfortable with each other.

Thinking about the future of the child, better follow legal path. You and the child both can be happy in the long run.
