I've noticed most questions asked in these forums are more general and require some sort of personal experience rather than expertise (sort of the kind of thing you'd ask Mom or Grandma). I have seen where questions have been researched and I have done that on occasion myself, but that's usually more technical genres (like in the Health section). For example, can you imagine how this would Google if I typed in "why doesn't anyone use it" for this particular question? Good grief...I don't want to even imagine what site I would be directed to!! :-)

Because everyone thinks their stupid question is the first. It can be asked why they don't use the web to search for anything???
Wanna know how to breed your dog?? Don't research REAL sites on that...ask some nameless face on Yahoo! Answers!!!

The same folks also don't use the "check spelling" function, nor do they refer to the "search for questions" box at the top of the page.

The same reason no one uses it before posting a question-too much like work.
Other than that some people like different opinions and some just like to socialize.

i believe they are too stupid to notice it some questions have been asked 1000's & 1000's of times it gets very anoying
ps (Check Spelling) is another thing they dont notice either
