As per me you should give importance to both. If the situation is to choose one. Frist try to convince your family .
Though you love some one, you should have family support. The blessings of the parents should always be with you. If you are going in right track there is no need to fear , try to convince your parents if the person is good , he is a rigth person for you they will definitely agree for your marraige.

Family is forever !!!!Family are the fruits of love!!!If you have a family you need not choose you already have love you just have to maintain it!!Love only lasts for a while!!Familys first!!

i think Ur in love . But assume that if u choose Ur love it makes u happy for few days and after that u feel lonely in love than u find Ur family ,Ur mom everyone who loves u so much n ready to do anything for u . than u realise that who made u happy forever . And a family is the only one make u stand on Ur feet to face this world.A family gives u strength, Peace , etc, only to make happy to each other.

Love is initally good, it is eternal, it is really beyond life, u feel like a feather, but a family relation is some thing for which u have to bind upon. This really values, virtues, for a better future. I think u have to opt for the family life rather than love.

Straight up you shouldn't have to... if family or your love is making you choose then you need to check them accordingly, if they dont have a vilid reason. But your fam should be the truest... and both sides should love you enough to live in harmony

Before i answer, your parents are right about you changing. You lied to them for him. Accept that your parents might not welcome him. This is what i did... I met my man of my dreams years ago. We couldn't be together cuz of family and school. I moved about 600+ miles away. I was hard seeing each other. All we had was cell phones and internet to send pictures of each other. We were fighting to keep the relationship going BUT at the same time we stayed close to our family and friend (which are just as important). We waited two years to finally be together. My parents still don't accept him but they respect him now (somewhat). I suggest finishing your school first (at the same time stay in your relationship whether its long distance or not). Get your job and be with him. But don't ex-communicate yourself from your family. Just try hard to be with him no matter what, please don't try to run away or anything. Try to keep both. Be strong i had to be.

If family has valid reasons for making you drift apart, of course you should listen to them but if they are being unreasonable and your love and you have patience to endure them for the rest of your lives, go and have fun. Remember, how much you want, you cannot run from them forever and one day or the other you wil have to come back and bear all the bs they will want to throw at you.

be very clear please. Don't u love your family? i know that i am boring you. But be practical. When u r married and had children...u r bound to take care of them. Do ur family love u or not? Be sincere to ur self. I think some one is trusted and beleaving you that u would take care of them. Donot back stab them. Loving ur family is more important than deviding them into family Vs Love.
