I agree with the ladies who suggested you go and get some good hair extensions, you could get any length, and shorter ones are a little less expensive.

As an alternative you could also get the clip on hair if you want to just dress it up for him sometimes, look at the "Hairuwear" website for many options.

I think it's just a little bit too short right now. Don't cut it anymore except for little tiny "quarter inch or less" trims only if absolutely necessary. By summer it will be growing out and I think you'll like it much better.

As for style you could get a 1" curling iron, and curl it softly so that the curls frame your face, like the pic in the first link.

In the meantime use really good hair products:
Phytonectar shampoo by Phytologie.
Biolage Conditioning Balm.
Biosilk (for shine) put in prior to the blow dry and a little after

Oh I just saw you asked about color, Please let your stylist help with color. She/he will have whole rings of hundreds of Swatches of different colors. You want to hold the swatch near your face, and see if it works with your skin tone, choosing the wrong color will wash out your skin tone and end up worse! So leave that to you and a good stylist in the salon. Don't experiment with color at home. You need to know exactly what works for your hair.

Good Luck, I've been there, girl!!

I think it looks so cute. I totally disagree with the person that said it makes you look older, not true! You and your husband will get use to it,don't worry. I would not recomend hair extensions, they can really damage the hair. If you don't like your hair, just let it grow. I like how your layers flip out,but for something differnet you can use a round brush and make the layers on the sides curve forward around your face. I don't see anything wrong with your color, but if you don't like it,try a few high lights on the top about two shades lighter then your hair, not blonde though.By the way,you do look good in pink.

I don't think your hair is too short. If it was a drastic change it's just going to take you (and your husband) awhile to get used to it. Men typically don't like short hair anyway. Just experiment with it. I'm sure after a few days you'll be able to style it. As a last resort, you can always go to a different salon and ask about styling tips, or get a different kind of cut. Good luck.

Sorry your husband hates it... I personally think it looks adorable (though you do look younger with the longer hair). Maybe you could try styling it without the ends feathered out, for a sleek look. Maybe you could try a lighter color, which would make the cut somewhat more youthful.

What color? Blondish... or honey brown... or light auburn

The fact that you look good in pink tells me you'd make a great light blonde. But it's hard to judge from pictures, since it could just be the lighting. Ask your husband what color he'd like to see your hair. At least you can pacify him with that, right? ;-)

If you really think it's bad, get extensions. But I don't think it looks too bad. But then again, I don't know what you looked like before.

Honestly, I suggest you wait till it grows back. Oil your hair with Warm Olive Oil twice a week, it'll promote growth. Wash your hair thrice a week atleast.

Don't worry about it. If you're thinking of extensions, try talking to a hair expert abt the consequences of having hair extensions, the maintainence and other things that might cause you more headache than you're already having.

GoodLUck!

Thats a gr8 cut but since you have an oval face it wont fit you . i reccomend you go to a saloon or a GOOD place for hair and ask what they can do to make it a little more longer than what it is for cheap .

I don't see anything wrong with it.

You are probably still reeling a bit from such a drastic change, but you'll get used to it in time. So will your husband.
