Hello Poki Poki.. :)

It really depends on what your viewpoint is on liberation..

For I used to be a slave to sin..but Jesus came into my heart and set me Free..for Whom the Son hath set Free is Free Indeed..

John 8

3 And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst,

4 they say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.

5 Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: Lev. 20.10 · Deut. 22.22-24 but what sayest thou?

6 This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.

7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

8 And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.

9 And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.

10 When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?

11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

John 8

34 ¶ Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.

35 And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.

36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving Day.. :)

In Jesus Most Precious Name..
With Love..In Christ.. :)

many circumstances the reliable pillars of JW congregations are the girls human beings and older women human beings. they are in many circumstances those that carry out maximum of the folk of the preaching artwork and many times provide the main suitable solutions throughout the time of the Watchtower be taught. they only be conscious of the headship affiliation given interior the scriptures specifically, God the daddy, Christ, Governing physique, Elders, men and then women human beings. in case you declare to be a Christian then you additionally will ought to persist with this admonition. That being pronounced, i'm now not a JW anymore, as i think that no-one has any unique carry on the actuality if there is even this style of ingredient. At this diploma of my existence i think of its conceivable the bible became written via men to regulate different men. and of path the mentality back in bible circumstances became that girls human beings have been inferior. it particularly is my opinion purely. i attempt to furnish non-bias solutions. thank you

Jesus peace be upon him called for the same rights that Muhammed peace be upon him called for. However, they claim that Islam is unfair with women while Christianity is not.

The only difference between the women in the west and women in Islamic world is that Muslim women are more obeying to what their religion call for.

Well.. now that Christian women are not obeying which make them practice their lives with more freedom does not make Islam more sexist.

Jesus' kingdom is a spiritual not a natural kingdom. We must therefore look at liberation from a spiritual perspective not from a natural perspective. In Gal 3:28 believers in Christ Jesus are neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female. Put simply there is no distinction whatsoever between male and female in the spiritual. This is complete liberation because the distinction between man and woman is no more.

So basically, nobody answered. The best you can do is: It says Men & Women are equal"......It also tells women in the bible to cover themselves & dress modestly (as Nuns all around the worlds still do), yet when a Muslim woman does that, she's "oppressed". Oh please! Why then are there MORE Muslim women doctors & engineers just in Lebanon & Jordan, (two teeny weeny countries) than women doctors & engineers in the ENTIRE United States? I guess because the Muslim women are opressed, don't have equal rights & opportunities huh? You guys make me laugh, spouting off about Muslim women's rights. I AM a Muslim woman, & a Western convert at that.....I am MUCH more liberated now.

In Jesus' day women were property, they had no rights. He didn't ask or demand that anyone change that, He just informed people that God saw no difference in man, or woman, or slave, or free in His determination of their worth as a human being.

I don't know the scripture off hand, but if nobody posts it, I will edit.

Here is the edit: Galatians 3:28 You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

I agree with nancyjo! Jesus didn't specifically go and say, "women, you are liberated, etc.". He just shows us that with God's will, we aare all equal in God's eyes!
