If this is a prescription drug and not an over-the-counter drug, speak with your doctor!! Actually, speak with you doctor anyway, whether or not it's prescribed. He will be aware of all the ins and outs and possible medical problems you may have and can assist you in a cessation plan.

Try taking a smaller dose, every three days......if you take...80 mgs a day go down to 70mg a day for 3 days, then 60 a day for 3 days, 50 a day.....etc..... if its a narcotic pain it will be hard to stop, you should talk to your dr...this is a common problem, and your dr knows how to help you. If its an Opiate medication....there are meds you can take to help wean you off. Good Luck, you can do it.

In order for someone to try to detox, you have to at first use something else, let say over the counter pain meds, then use less and less until you don have any withdrawls, stay busy all the time you might need a friend that could be with you through this tough time, ask if you could stay in contact 24-7 through this period, the longer you stay with this addiction the harder to get ou of it, take care and love your self.

I've suffered from migraines for 10 years now. My big thing is I've changed my diet. I don't eat a lot of sodium and try to stay away from caffiene. Somethings work better for others.

get a book on reflexology....there are certain spots you can touch on your hand that are supposed to relieve you of your headache. if you move your finger along your eyebrow you will feel a "dent" (press hard) press that and soon your headache will go away.
also, the fat part of your hand between your index finger and thumb. good luck!

I feel for you. when I quit smoking, I just stopped because my father who was ill and going to pass, asked that I stop before he died. wow that worked. I wish I could help more, but I believe its mind over matter and you be the winner.

start smokin a little weed, but don't take it to an extreme. 3 bongs in the morn, 4 bongs after lunch, 2 bongs bout 4 o'clock and 5 bongs before bed, all mixed 50-50 with marlboro red, to help it burn better.

keep to this and you'll have 'no worries for the rest of your days.'
