I think speaking of relationships is always a good topic to engage people. Because everyone seems to be looking for love, or at least curious to know what it is. You can teach from 1 Cor 13:4-8 on the characteristics of love, and hence, God. But God provides us with insight on how to tell that someone really loves us, and as a form of reflection on whether we love other people. You can really take this topic on from many different angles. Best wishes.

A Short Sermin:

"In this arid wilderness of steel and stone, I raise my voice which you may hear. To the North and South I call Upon and to the East and West I proclaim: If a man smite you in the cheek, SMASH him in the other, hit him high and low for self preservation is the highest law."

Indulgence, NOT Abstinence.

Vital Existence NOT Spiritual Pipe Dreams.

The Upper Room or My Daily Bread are good little quick devotionals. They are published monthly and a lot of churches have them for the asking.
