As an atheist I believe through evidence that this will happen, I don't base my belief on faith but on the ample evidence of those who have died previously.When we die it is GAME OVER, that's precisely why we call it death.

Through faith we can believe anything at all, it requires no evidence just the suspension of disbelief, it's a childlike view, just because we can neither prove or disprove something doesn't make it any more likely whether it be God, the Celestial Teapot or the Invisible Pink Unicorn. But to threaten others with imagined lakes of fire is not childlike it is just sick.

"Aren't God believers going to die and be buried or cremated just like atheists eventually?"

Sure, it's just that they think they're going stare dumbfounded for eternity at their magical sky daddy sitting on his throne.

BTW, younglakshmimitta, you're a moron.

Believe what you want.........having no faith is not a good thing.

Yes , we will all die an earthly death, but that's the ONLY thing we will experience together.
You don;t like being "threatened" with lakes of fires.......That's cool, you can God about that when it's your turn. You may not believe now, but I believe you will.......hopefully before it's too late.
BTW....you call yourself an atheist.......Just my opinion..but I do not believe there is such a thing as a true atheist......I have had two friends who claimed to be atheists. They were great people and good friends, we just differed on philosophy. Both of these men died and both cried out to God from their death bed for mercy. I find that interesting. I wish they had listened a long time ago. Although I believe differently, I hope I am wrong and their cried are answered.....
Anyway, Here's hoping you can believe and accept Christ soon.....You have a good life....

Cremated

Yes, they will. But just because your body is death that doesn't mean that your spirit is, and that I believe will apply to everybody whether or not the person believes in God. I do not think anybody can choose otherwise, the same way you cannot choose if you want to die or not.

So when the game is over on this world I take it as the end of level 1, we will progress to level 2 in the next life (the spiritual one).

Man is a spirit, he has a soul and lives in a body. According to the Bible when a person dies his spirit together with his soul leave the body and go to be with Jesus. When Jesus comes back again all believers, dead and alive, will receive new bodies made from heaven. So the old body made from the earth is useless and believers do not need them anyway. It is eternal life with heavenly bodies for the believers, not game over as you think. Strictly speaking Christians do not die but they sleep because Jesus has conquered death (which is not having eternal life) for them

I agree completely. However, there are those who cannot conceive of a universe without themselves dwelling in it, because they are such shining lights in the cosmos, no doubt. For them, the notion of some ethereal skydaddy cradling their "soul" for eternity amid all sorts of yummy treats is a lie that is irresistible. Those religions that promise paradise to their followers are literally selling pie in the sky (which is very easy to make and even easier to sell, evidently).

The concept of God, the soul and religion as a whole all stems from human's fear of death

Okay, swettie!!! Believe what ever you like.
Let me just tell you:
Inspite of all messages by God that you have to change and accept Him in your heart;
Inspite of all the people He sent to you for you to change your heart and thank Him for everything He did to you;
Inspite of all the chance that He had given you until the last hour of your life... not to deny His existence...
Then...there`s no one to blame except you when you die...your spirit walks out from your body in sadness, then you`ll realized you were wrong...but no more chance to correct it...you`ll keep knocking the door of God and no one listens to you...we see you but we can`t do anything else because you lose all chances we gave you...so, just get used to this word...Bobye!
We`re sorry, you lose your chances!...

Unless you start to accept God now. Our hope and chances are always there until our last breath, comrades!
Be blessed!

Yep!!! You are so right.
We will all die sometime, and history will prove that.
After that.....well there is plenty of evidence and recorded testimony going back thousands of years which indicates that there is an intelligent energy beyond physical mortality. You decide, but keep an open mind.

Revelation 21:8
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
