What is the nicest way to turn a guy down your not into without hurting their self-esteem or seeming like a *****?

Tell them that you dont see this relationship working out in the long run or that your not ready for a relationship. Half the time they will know your full of **** but still accept it and feel ok.
Basicly just use the "its not you its me" only make it your own.

Don't lie to him and tell him you already are with someone or anything like that. Just tell him the truth.
Be nice about it. Let him know that you're flattered by his interest in you, but unfortunately the feeling is not mutual.
He should understand and not be hurt. He might feel a little down, but thats what happens, and I'm sure he's strong enough to get over it, and will do so soon enough. He will respect your honesty.

good for u to ask !!! Congrates. if only u r my ex. Well u gotta reject him slowly. don go too hush. Tell him that u r not into these kind of stuff. Tell him he has no chance. But don be direct. try play true or dare with him. Plot a play infront of him. tell ur friends to truth u and ask u wheather u like him or not or something like tat. the bottom line is don be too direct.

brutal honesty is a no no. it hurts a person's ego.just ask them for an opinion on a christmas / birthday present for your bf. he'll get the picture. no need to do the heart to heart talk. if he persist, he is dumbly in love with you.
