Earlier this year in spring, I got a cold which developed into sinusitus - we think! Anyway, during the summer I got slight hayfever so in July, I got Flixonase and used that for a couple of months and it worked wonders! However, a month without using it, and it's come back. It's worse in the morning, I sneeze constantly and my nose is SO itchy and I just have to blow my nose all the time! Just like a constant cold, it comes and goes though, sometimes its bad, sometimes its not. Any ideas?!?!?

HI see your doc it could be progressive rhinitus(might not be spelt right) or you could have nasal polyps(again might not be spelt right)polyps get irritated and make your nose produce mucus, anything can set them off .pet hair dust .bed mites, cold weather, hot dry air, makes your nose stream, eyes water, sinuses feel blocked, and you feel really tired.you can have them removed ,but in some cases they grow back.i know i'v got them !good luck.(allways carry balm tissues) tata Al.

I've been suffering from allergies for the last 30 years, .It goes from slight inconvenience to real medical problem. I've missed many work days because of it. When it gets this serious you have to learn to manage the disease.
Find out what antihistamine works good for you, find the right nasal spray, and at the first signs , start immediately your treatment. As tablets I use Clarinase, and as nasal spray a cortisone/steroid product. The nasal spray is delivered only by prescription.
Don't try anything before seen a good specialist.

may well be that you have developed an allergy and doesn't always have to be in response to anything new in your environment . A RAST test can be performed which will investigate which allergen causing your problem. Not sure if all doctors familiar with the test or have local laboratory facilities to perform it though.

I suffered from the same condition and was told NOT to use sprays as they can damage the inside of the nose. You can get proper treatment from the doctor and ask for tests for allergies. Never treat it yourself as over-the-counter remedies are probably not for you and definitely not for prolonged use.

I would suggest that you have developed an irritant, and that you are now allergic to something.
Trouble is, detecting what you have developed an allergy to!
Have you recently changed soap powder, shampoo, have you a dog, or cat, flowers in the house, new furniture, carpet...etc.
Try that.
