Ha ha! sharted, one of my favourite words. You didn't need to make such an elaborate story though. Sharting is funny in most situations.
Like my friend who is a police officer. He went to the toilet in the middle of a meeting. He was stood at the urinals and thought he could slip out a little fart, but oh no! He sharted all over himself! He was in the toilet for about half an hour, and all his colleges were coming in and asking if he was ok etc, He had to go home to get changed, then explain to his Sargent why he walked out of the meeting!!
