As quoted by Stephen R. Covey in 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. Many forget that love is not just a noun but a proactive verb. Loving someone isn't just a state of mind. It requires effort, time, resources, money and action.

"So love her" he advised a man who has lost feelings for his wife. "My friend, love is a verb. Love- the feeling- is a fruit of love, the verb. So love her. Serve. Sacrifice. Listen to her. Empathize. Appreciate. Affirm her. Are you willing to do that?" Conclusion-Habit 1 (Be Proactive)
