It could be a blood clot - an extreme case of Cellular thrombosis where the superficial veins are swollen blocking the circulation of blood to and from the lower parts of the leg partially. Need to wear either a crepe bandage or a surgical stocking and consult a doctor who will surely suggest a ultrasound sonography test to determine the exact location of the clot.

Hi there,
Usually chronic pains in the limbs are to do with either a sports-injury or from lack of movement to get the circulation moving around all parts of the body and I have this from time to time when I am not moving as much as I could be.
You have been cleared of arthritis which is good, and any blood-testing you have had done, will automatically test for other things too and if you have any medical condition, this will automatically show up in the tests you have had done. I have had blood tests done for the same thing as you and I used to think that they only tested for the arthritis, but in any blood-test, they will be looking for all other possibilities too.
If you had anything serious or medically related, this would always show up in a blood testing. I would recommend two things before you start looking for a self-diagnosis and that is to buy yourself a good copper braclet as this really does help in circulatory problems and will ease some of the chronic pain that you are feeling.
Secondly, to get more physical excercise such as brisk walking for 30 minutes a day - everyday. This will also get your circulation going. This is what stopped my chronic pain and I think a lot of physical chronic pain is largely due to lack of real physical movement and rarely to do with anything medical
but wearing a copper braclet can ease limb or joint pains - a lot of arthritic and non-arthritic people wear these and they do help, so this might help to ease some of the pain.
I would try not to dwell too much on the pain as this will start to make you think of all kinds of things and if you do have anything, there will be other symptoms too and not just the limb pain itself. Try and get yourself doing some physical movment at least 30 minutes everyday that is heart-pumping - this will at least get your blood going around to each part of the body and will soon stop any pain if it is circulation problems.
Give the excercise and copper braclet a try first for at least two weeks and if you still don't feel any better, then yes, go back and see the doctor and have another test done. But, it sounds to me that the problem is a circulation one and the only way to treat it is through excercise and movement.
Also, wearing warm socks and gloves when going outside.
Hope I have helped, but it is so easy to start looking for other possibilities yourself that will not diagnose you anyway - only a blood test will show up anything serious.

check out lymphoedema and also lipoedema. You do not say if you are male or female or your age :(
Do you bruise easily and do you have an abnormal accumulation of fat from the waist down which is largely symmetrical in appearance? see Lipoedema (lipedema).
Do you have swelling in your legs? Is this post-operation/accident etc? check out Lymphoedema (lymphedema).
If you do have swelling - did this begin from birth, puberty or after age 38 approx? If yes, has the swelling started from the foot, up? see Primary Lymphoedema.
Please be careful when looking up these disease conditions because they can be frightening (the internet sites tend to focus on worst-case scenarios).
If you are in the UK you can find a fully qualified Manual Lymphatic Therapist at www.mlduk.org.uk
If you are in the States please see the following:

Sounds like you have a pinched nerve, my husband had this and he had a pinched nerve that caused him to be in servery pain then it started in his side and arm. You need to go see a new doctor and be tested for pinched nerves.
Good Luck
