I am going through a similar situation, and I have called the Police several times. It didn't seem to effect my son or his actions. I strongly recommend counseling, both individual and family. That is what we are currently doing and it seems to help a little.

Your teen is angry. It is your job as the parent to find out why and help fix it. You can't give up and you also can't make your teen care. But show as much love and affection as possible while he is not in these fits of rage. I know it is difficult - just try it. It may help. Also, seeking professional help through counseling or medication will greatly increase the happiness in the house.

Good Luck and keep praying. Things will get better - just don't give up!!

God Bless you and your family!

Call the Police while the child is having the outburst! It helps because they are more likely to open up to a stranger than you (been through this). We got to the point of calling every time until things calmed down. I would recommend trying that and then calmly sitting down with that child and let them scream, yell, curse to get it out because there is something deep down going on. Make that child accountable for there actions! Good Luck I know it is hard but, once the problem is solved things get better!

chances are he is bipoplar and needs medication 2 control his outbursts.. once he gets the help he needs, you will see a complete different kid.. could be a harmone rage to.. if he has been 2 the dr. and still no change, then yes he does need 2 be removed 4 the safety of all .. bummer eh

I think the parents need to get a bat and keep it with them. Yes, we love our children and only want the best for them but i would NEVER let any child of mine lay their hands on me. I do not care what kind of attention they are sceaming out for. They touch me in that way and they will be screaming all right.

The parents and that child need to find counsling and FAST.. I know parents do not want to make their children leave the house but when it become unsafe for them to stay that may be the best thing.

I think that you should call social services and the police because he obviously has a problem and it needs to be sorted before he actually does decide to carry out his threat. How do his parents feel about things if they are willing to go to counselling to sort things out then it should be done, either way they should get social services involved

DEFINITELY!! Your child is screaming for attention for whatever reason, so give it to them and call the police. Its sounds like your child should seek counseling before its too late for all of you. It would be better off in the long run!!
